Journeys explores spirit, rebirth, following one’s own path, and finding the beautiful inner being in everyone. Illustrated by seventh graders, this is an interactive, inspiring story for people of all ages.

About the Author

Louann Carroll is chief executive officer of her own company, a poised public speaker, and the mother of three children. She speaks openly about her past and present. At a young age her father died, and she went on to survive an alcoholic mother, hearing loss, a teen pregnancy, the effects of the Vietnam War, and drug abuse. At 31 years of age, Louann awoke with a sever case of post-traumatic stress syndrome related to her childhood. Her subsequent plan of recovery included therapy through writing. Out of that therapy came Journeys, a story of a leaf who becomes detached from her tree. The point of Journeys is to bring hope and joy to those who fear the ultimate end of life.
