About the Author

Kaia Svien obtained a B.A. in Art History from Pamona College and a M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin. She practiced as a Learning Disabilities Specialist for many years. Kaia has studied with excellent guides in the Wiccan community and participates in community and ceremonial life. Part of her work today is designing and facilitating rituals and mentoring those who desire to base their spiritual practice in ancient European-American cultural roots. She develops and teaches classes on this ancient culture at a local Cultural Wellness Center. Kaia Svien lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
